Police is like oxygen whose absence is felt badly
instead of presence.
But Mumbai police and its officers' round the clock
duties, rescue works, distribution of food compelled
citizen of Mumbai to feel their presence.
Amol Powar, PSI is part of world’s one of the elite
police force i.e. Mumbai Police. He and his
colleagues worked round the clock to protect people
not only from pandemic corona but also arranged
provisions, food and medical facilities to the needy
people. Amid the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic,
Mumbai recently faced the raging Cyclone Nisarga
and recent fury of Amphan in West Bengal was
enough for Mumbaikar to fear worst.
However, the Mumbai Police, who worked relentlessly
to protect Mumbaikar from Corona came again as
saviour and acted as front line shield to cyclone
Nisarg and faced with the adversities to keep people
safe. Amol Powar and his colleagues of Mumbai
Police dealt challenge of migrant workers with
humanity and empathy. They not only offer physical
support but mental strength to migrant brothers in
