How much penalty Begging Costs in UAE ??

Anyone caught begging in the UAE gets a three-month prison sentence and a Dh5,000 fine, according to the UAE Public Prosecution.

“Whoever is detected begging to receive a physical or in-kind benefit by any form or means shall be condemned to incarceration for a term of up to three months and a fine of not less than Dh5,000,” the article adds.
The article goes on to say that if the person is caught employing deception to solicit for money, it will be regarded as an aggravated circumstance: “Begging offenses shall be considered an aggravating circumstance in the following events:

  1. If the beggar appears to be healthy and has a source of income,
  2. If the beggar pretends to be injured or disabled, pretends to be performing a service for a third party, or uses any other deception to influence others and gain their affection,
