Mr. Duli Chand Singhania, founder of Singhania & Co., left for his heavenly abode on November 29, 2022, after celebrating his 90th birthday with his family. A legal luminary, lovingly known as DCS, Mr. Singhania established Singhania & Co. in 1969—the first Indian law firm with international offices in the USA and UK.
In his illustrious career, Mr. Singhania contributed significantly to the legal profession:
- He was the chairman of the Society of Indian Arbitrators.
- He served as a member of the board of directors for several multinational corporations.
- In 2021, he was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award by Times Magazine for his outstanding contribution to law and education.
As a philanthropist, Mr. Singhania founded Singhania University in Rajasthan, aiming to empower future generations through education.
