Their expedition took them across continents, culminating in a unique stay in a small village in Uttar Pradesh, near Gorakhpur, during the COVID-19 lockdown. This extraordinary adventure attracted media attention in both France and India, with coverage under the title “The French Blocked in India.”
Ophélie remained in India for 15 months after the lockdown. During this time, she travelled approximately 50,000 kilometres across the country and visited the Char Dham pilgrimage sites. This experience, particularly the sacred Char Dham, is one she cherishes deeply. Immersed in Indian culture, she not only explored the country but also embraced its traditions, even learning Hindi along the way.
Upon returning to France, Ophélie’s modelling career truly took off. Her rich experiences in India, combined with her passion for travel and fashion, helped her build a significant following on Instagram. She quickly became a sought-after model, participating in numerous fashion shows and prestigious Fashion Weeks for well-known brands.
