According to the Yogi Adityanath government, the UP Board Class 12th English paper has been leaked, and the exam has been cancelled in as many as 24 districts (March 30, 2022).The UP Board Class 12th English test was set to take place today at 2 p.m., but it was postponed after the question paper was leaked in the Ballia area.

The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has begun conducting high school and intermediate examinations in the state beginning March 24. The high school exams were scheduled to take place over 12 working days, while the intermediate exams were scheduled to take place over 15 working days.
This year, a total of 27,81,654 pupils have registered for Class 10 exams, with 12,28,456 females and 15,53,198 males. In contrast, 24,11,035 pupils have registered for Class 12 this year, with 10,86,835 female students and 13,24,200 male students.
Prior to the start of the exams, the Uttar Pradesh government announced that those engaging in an organized copying racket in the UP Board of Secondary Education’s high school and intermediate exams will face legal punishment under the National Security Act (NSA).
Chief Secretary Durga Shankar Mishra delivered the directions through video conference to all divisional commissioners, police commissioners, district magistrates, and SSPs.
He had previously stated that zonal and sector magistrates should be delegated to districts to conduct copying-free examinations, as well as inspect and monitor examination centers on a regular basis.
The officer had stated that anybody involved in an organized copying ring should be prosecuted under the NSA, with specific emphasis paid to those disseminating rumors . Each examination hall has also been outfitted with CCTV cameras.
